Contemptible things beside me,
But I abide.
Others direct
Detestable slurs toward me,
But I survive.
Other contrive
Condemnable plots against me,
But I remain.
Others perform
Deplorable deeds around me,
But I persist.
Others hurtle
Abominable barbs about me
But I endure.
Others commit
Despicable acts upon me,
But I prevail.
Others display
A damnable hatred of me,
But I still prevail.
