The Black Sheep on the Path of Light

In defiance of my rotten relations
Who acted as a malignant mass
Sickening society’s collective corpus
With ugly utterances and dreadful deeds,
I shunned the path of malevolence.
In insolence toward inimical elders
Who labelled me the blackest sheep,
Berating and belittling me bitterly,
I held honor and honesty even higher
And stayed on a contumacious course.
In rebellion against contemptible kin
Who spread great trouble and torment,
Revelling in roisterous chaos
With maliciously monstrous glee,
I trod the road of right and light.
