Sinister Mater

Sinister mater speaks with a serpent's tongue,
Whispering woeful words and devilish deceits,
Hissing hateful invectives and terrible taunts.
Baleful mother badgers and belittles her brood,
Sowing sombre seeds of depression and distress,
Reaping sick satisfaction from any damages done.
Malicious parent foments misery and misfortune,
Wishing the worst for her oppressed offspring,
Dreaming of her spawn’s destruction and death.
