The dilettante poet pens florid verse
Overfilled with flowery flourishes
But sorely devoid of deeper meaning.
Profoundness eludes the poetaster
Plugging away at his garish garbage
So gladly adorned with baroque baubles,
So sadly replete with extreme excess.
