Poem "Tongue-Tied"

 

Tongue-Tied

Pleasant words that flow in my mind 
Like a babbling brook 
Tumble off my twisted tongue 
Like a toppling rockfall.
Sincere meanings become jumbled up
Like a simmering stew
Confusing my honest intentions
Like an obfuscating fog.
